Start the weekend with a six-mile stroll

If you are free next Monday afternoon why not join us on a gentle six-mile stroll? The walk starts at 1pm from York Lane, Huggate (map ref SE 866 557), and will probably finish at around 4pm.
below are the dates, starting point, map reference, starting time and distance for all the free, circular guided walks in this area for the week beginning Thursday October 2.

If you would like to join any of them, just turn up at the starting poi
nt wearing stout shoes, with some weatherproof clothing, a drink and, if the walk is more than about five miles, a packed lunch. Then, whether you are an RA member or not, you will be made very welcome.

Saturday October 4:
Allerthorpe (SE 785 474) 1pm four miles.
Sunday October 5:
Tranmire (NZ 772 115) 10am 11 miles.
Coneysthorpe Lake car park.
(SE 707 712) 10am 11.5 miles.
Paull Lighthouse (TA 166 262)
10am nine miles.
Newport Village Hall (SE 855 301)
11am 11 miles.
Monday October 6:
Huggate, York Lane (SE 866 557)
1pm six miles.
Wednesday October 8:
Huggate, Warter Rd (SE 877 543)
10am 10 miles.
Kilburn White Horse car park
(SE 515 812) 10.30am 10 miles.
Knaresborough Railway Station
(SE 348 572) 10.45am eight miles.
