Ramble around the Watton Abbey ruins

People are invited to take part in a seven-mile ramble to see the ruins of Watton Abbey on Sunday, April 27.
The walk will go through the villages of Hutton Cranswick and Watton and is suitable for those of average fitness. Walking boots are recommended.
Those taking part should meet by the pond on the village green, Main Street, Hutton Cranswick, at 1.30pm.
Bird lovers are invited to join ornithologist Richard Baines on a walk to experience the spring migration of birds such as puffins, to Flamborough Head.
Binoculars are recommended but a telescope will be available for close up views.
Those taking part should meet at the Flamborough Outer Headland Local Nature Reserve car park, Lighthouse Road, Flamborough, on Sunday, April 27, at 10am.
l Tickets for both of these events cost £2 for adults, £1.50 for adults aged over 60, £1.50 for children aged under 16 and £6 for a family ticket.
Booking for the walk or the birdwatching day is essential.
