For the second week in a row Tigers started off the game slowly before fighting back in the second half.
First blood went to Preston with Danny McIvor opening the scoring with a superb goal. Charlie McKay for Preston caused the Tigers defence all
sorts of problems, and Preston added to their lead on 20 minutes with a great goal from Matthew Turner.
The second half saw a determined fight back from the Tigers.
A scrambled goal from Josh Newby early in the 2nd half gave hope to the Tigers.
With Matthew Minshall leading the Tigers midfield, they started to play some superb football. Only a magnificent save from the Preston keeper prevented Sam Richman from equalising. Eventually, the equaliser came from a coolly taken penalty by Newby.
The third Tigers goal came from Alex Czelecki, and was the culmination of a dazzling move involving Newby, Minshall and Will Reid.
With Jack Michaels in excellent form on the right wing, the Tigers fourth goal came when Reid hammered the ball into the back of the net with Michaels following on to make sure.
Preston fought back and were unlucky with a Charlie McKay strike that hit the crossbar. The Tigers defence led by Alex Fleeman and David Mason battled hard, but they were unable to prevent Nathan Holland from breaking through in the final minute and getting a consolation third goal for Preston.
Overall, this was a great fightback from Tigers and a well deserved win.
Josh Newby was voted the Tigers man of the match and Jack Michaels the coaches player of the week.
