BEVERLEY and East Riding Lawn Tennis Club held a very successful open day at its Seven Corners Lane courts.
More than 50 adults and youngsters went along to try out the courts, receive some coaching and find out more about the club.

Kathleen Horrocks, club president, said: "We've been thrilled by the level of interest in tennis in the town. The club's broad programme of coaching, combined with team tennis and regular social tennis sessions obviously appeals very widely."

For more information about the club and how to join, contact membership secretary Julie Robinson on (01482) 886358.
