Steve invited to join Tri UK Triathlon Team

A BEVERLEY man who represented Great Britain at the ITU World Triathlon Championships (age group 30-34) in 2007 is looking to represent his country again next month in Vancouver, Canada.
Royal Marine Steve Lewis (31), who has lived all his life in Beverley, has been invited onto the Tri UK Triathlon Team, the biggest triathlon team in Europe.

Sergeant Lewis, who has been involved with triathlon since 2006, has also represented the Royal Marines and the Royal Navy at the sport.

Steve competes at both Sprint Distance (400m swim, 20k bike ride, 5k run) and Olympic Distance (1500m, 40k bike, 10k run) and is hoping to take part in the upcoming Driffield Triathlon.
