BEVERLEY Life Saving Club was among the honours at the Hull and East Riding AGM held at the Albert Avenue Pool in Hull.
The Beverley club won the Lady Prince Smith Trophy for the most awards for the under-14 year age group, and the Treasurer's Shield for the most points overall.

The criteria for the trophies is based on the percentage of awards gained against the number of members. It was the 20th time that Beverley had won the Treasurer's Shield and the 14th time that the club had won the Lady Prince Smith Trophy.

James Trowsdale was also presented with a Friends of the Society certificate by the branch president, Dr Chris Woods, for his support of lifesaving in Beverley.
