A BUSY summer of action at Beverley Racecourse continues next Tuesday, June 24, with a seven race fixture starting at 2.15pm.
The feature race of the afternoon is The Levy Board Handicap Stakes, a contest for sprinters over the minimum trip of five furlongs and offering prize money of £11,000.

Racegoers will also be asked to dig into their pockets to help the St John Ambulance service, who lend their name to the mile and a quarter handicap.

The St John Ambulance Handicap Stakes draws attention to the vital work performed on a voluntary basis at Beverley and on most of the UK's racecourses.

And new Westwood sponsors, Tomrods of Knaresborough and Thirsk, who are one of the country's largest independent steel brokers, support the three-year-old maiden contest over the extended mile.
