Scarborough lifeboat launches to help person in distress
Scarborough RNLI’s inshore lifeboat launched last night after reports that a despondent person was in distress in the north bay.
The coastguard requested the launch at about 11pm. However, the lifeboat was stood down en route as it was no longer needed.
