North Bridlington Library starts new half-term competition for the best elephant names
The two elephants have made their way from Beverley to Bridlington, however upon their arrival at North Bridlington Library, it was discovered that they do not have names.
There will be two entry categories for the naming competition: the Big Elephant and the Baby Elephant. One winner will be chosen from each category.

The winner of the Baby Elephant category will win a book bundle.
Tara Foxon, librarian for North Bridlington Library, said: “We can’t wait to see what the people of Bridlington suggest as names for our huge friends. With imaginations as bright as theirs, we know we’re going to get some fabulous suggestions!”
Entrants are asked to complete the entry form which can be found either in-branch at North Bridlington or on the East Riding Libraries website as a printable PDF.

Winners will be contacted directly by the staff at North Bridlington Library by November 10, 2023, and will be announced on social media at the same time.
