TESCO is hosting a charity car boot sale this weekend.
The store, on Morton Lane, is hoping to raise as much money as possible for its charities of the year, the Alzheimers Society and Alzheimer’s Scotland.
A team of 12 volunteers who work in the store, lead by community champion Julia Blackwell, will be on hand at the event.
The car boot sale is one of a series of fundraising events that have been planned throughout the year.
Paul Young, of the Tesco Beverley Charity Committee, said: “We always enjoy a great response from the people of Beverley and its visitors and we are delighted to offer the use of our large car park to allow the great opportunity for people to raise some extra cash for themselves and maybe grab a bargain.”
One hundred per cent of the profit from the £5 pitch fee will go to the charity.
The car boot sale will be held on Easter Sunday, April 24. People are invited to set up from 7am in the spaces nearest the store. The car boot will start at 10am and finish at 4pm.
