After the success of their previous Spread the Warmth drop-in in November, Age UK East Riding is holding another drop-in at Mill Street Community Centre on Friday 24th January between 12.30pm and 3.30pm. As well as any follow-up enquiries from the previous drop-in, residents over the age of 50 can go along to receive advice on benefits they may be entitled to in order to maximize their income; how to keep fuel bills down and be more energy efficient; as well as useful tips on keeping warm. Spread the Warmth packs will also be available free of charge.

The charity is encouraging as many older people as possible to take advantage of this free information and advice. Details of the charity’s cleaning service, Spic & Span, will also be available on the day.

For more information about the drop-in, or any of the charity’s services, please call Age UK East Riding on 01482 869181 or email info@ageukeastriding.org.uk
