Driffield resident and Guide Dog owner Shane Gibson has organised a musical fundraiser at Driffield Old Town Hall.
Springfest III will raise votal funds aid of the Guide Dogs form the Blind charity appeal.
Shane and his Guide Dog Bailey have organised this event for three years.
“I don’t think many people know that Guide Dogs don’t get any government funding, “he explained.
“So events like this, as well as being a great night out, are helping the charity change people’s lives.”
“We had a great night last year, and want this year’s fundraiser to be even more successful”
Springfest III will take place on Friday 30 May, starting at 8pm - with tickets costing £5 on the door.
Supporters will be treated to live music from across the area, with sets from John Garner, Gordy Shannon, Katie Spencer, Ollie and Neil, Dogfinger Steve, Jasper Bolton and LS3 as well as a raffle and book stall.
The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association is a British charitable organisation founded in 1934.
Guide Dogs provides independence and freedom to thousands of blind such as Shane and partially sighted people across the UK through the provision of guide dogs, mobility and other rehabilitation services
Guide Dogs for the Blind also campaigns passionately for the rights of those with visual impairments.
Guide Dogs is working towards a society in which blind and partially sighted people enjoy the same freedom of movement as everyone else.
