Neighbourhood officers in Driffield are appealing for information to help identify a man who allegedly indecently exposed himself to a woman near the village of Bainton in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

A woman reported that a white man described as being aged in his 60s, with stubble and short, grey balding hair, approached and exposed himself to her while she was cycling on Nesick Lane, near Bainton, on Friday 20 June at around 1940hrs and again at 2030hrs. The man is thought to have been driving an old blue Ford Escort.

Beverley and Driffield Neighbourhood Sergeant John Roe said: “We want to track this man down to prevent any further incidents. We would also like to warn women walking alone in the area they should take extra care. This is a very rural location, popular with dog walkers and cyclists and I want people to be aware of this incident.

‘If anyone else has been a victim of the same man recently or knows who he is they should contact Humberside Police on the non emergency telephone number 101 and quote log 550 of 02 July 2014.”
