Nominate a kids helper
Graham Stuart, MP for Beverley and Holderness, is seeking nominations for the Kids Count Inspiration Awards, in an effort to recognise outstanding groups and individuals who have had a positive impact on young people in the local community.
Kids Count is a grassroots organisation which tries to find practical solutions to the wide range of issues that impact children and young people, including discipline, bullying, abuse, drug and alcohol addiction, and homelessness.
These annual awards provide the opportunity to recognise a community group with a demonstrated commitment to young people, or an individual who has inspired others through their dedication.
Graham said: “There are so many people throughout East Yorkshire who work hard every day to help our children grow and succeed. This is just a small way of recognising their efforts.
“I hope many of you will consider nominating someone you know who has made a real difference in the lives of our children.”
Nominations can be submitted to Graham’s office by calling 0207 219 4340 or emailing graham@grahamstuart by 12 March.
