The superb new-look Driffield Times and Post is continuing to receive tremendous reaction from readers and advertisers.

It has been on sale for only two days, but early indications have been very positive - with favourable comments on the both the expanded content and modern design.

Readers flicking through the new newspaper said: “You can tell there is more news in it.”

Staff from all departments were out and about to talk to readers for extra feedback.

Fiona Simpson, promotions co-ordinator, who was at various venues in Driffield, said: “Everyone has been positive and showing interest in the subscriptions.”

Other staff added: “The comment from one elderly gentleman was ‘It looks great, love.’”

Times and Post staff also reported queues of people buying copies of the new newspaper.
