Members are invited to Hodgsons Pub on Flemingate in Beverley on Saturday 22 March at 10am for the Minsters rail campaign annual meeting

Chairman George McManus is to step down. Top of the agenda will be the future of the campaign which will be electing new office bearers to take over as long standing officers.

Mr McManus said: “Personally I feel we’ve done all we can. The Council’s decision to allow development on the preferred route has dealt our campaign a hammer blow. It’s time for the members to decide what to do next. Should they wish to carry on, then its right to have new faces with new ideas.”
