AUCTION lovers are in for a treat on Sunday when hundreds of antiques and collectables go under the hammer at Woodmansey - with a credit crunch busting buyers' premium of just five percent.
Haltemprice Auctions will stage the event at Woodmansey Village Hall, with the first items being sold from at 12.30pm.
Older furniture entries include waxed pine double robe, knee hole desk, blanket box and four heights chest of drawers; Dining table and chairs; Oak 1930's roll top desk; Bergere three piece suite; Inlaid mahogany display cabinet; Quality envelope top card table; Balloon back, wicker seat, 1960's, imposing hall and Windsor chairs; Stools; Overmantle; Fold over table; Childrens' chairs; Canteen table and contents; Blanket and sewing boxes; Nests of tables; Nine piece bedroom suite and other modern furniture. Three piece leather suite.
Electrical goods include Liebherr fridge freezer, Siemans washing machine, freezer, various heaters, T.V's, dehumidifier, vacuum cleaners, sewing machine etc.
Ceramics section includes quality tray lots of named items, Royal Albert roses, Shelley coffee set etc. Wall plates. Figurines include Royal Doulton Loretta, Red Rose etc. Character jugs include Falstaff, Granny etc. Animal and Beswick bird ornaments.
