Hundreds of tributes to Jess Blake, 14 on Facebook

MORE than 1,000 tributes have been paid to schoolgirl Jess Blake on the Driffield Times & Post’s Facebook page.

The body of Jess, 14, was found in woodland on the outskirts of Beverley last Saturday afternoon following a huge police search.

Floral tributes and messages have been left at the scene off Lincoln Way, while hundreds of people have taken to social networking sites Facebook and Twitter to pay tribute to the teenager.

Yesterday Jess’s dad Dave Blake released a statement on behalf of the family in which he told how they had laughed and hugged on Saturday before Jess left the house for the last time.

Within hours of the tribute piece being posted on the Driffield Times & Post Facebook page almost 1,100 tributes had been left.
