Fun-filled romantic comedy is heading to Hull New Theatre
THEATRE-goers looking for an evening of fun-filled romantic comedy will not want to miss When Harry Met Sally when it comes to Hull New Theatre between March 15 and 20.
When Harry Met Sally continues to be one of the most popular romantic comedies more than two decades after it hit the big screen starring Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan.
The smash hit 1989 film directed by Rob Reiner spawned dozens of memorable lines and the burning question ‘can a man and woman ever really just be friends?’
More than two decades on from the year of the film’s release this new stage tour stars Sarah Jayne Dunn, of Hollyoaks fame, as Sally and former Coronation Street actor Rupert Hill as Harry.
It tells the tale of two New Yorkers and the friendship that develops between them as they date other people rather and share the trials and tribulations of relationships.
The play features music by Ben Cullum and his brother, the jazz sensation, Jamie Cullum.
