Artists Live in Beverley

A Beverley art gallery is holding a special event to enable visitors to see artists at work in the studio.

‘Artists Live’, part of the East Riding Open Studio event, takes place at Creation Fine Arts in North Bar Within, over five days this month.

Nigel Walker, owner of Creation Fine Arts, says: “Artists Live is a really exciting concept.

Not only can you shop for original artwork in the studios, but you can also get a first-hand look at the artistic process.

Find out the story behind a work that catches your eye or talk with the artist about how it was created.”

Artists Live takes place on 15, 16, 22 and 23 September, featuring ceramicist Jill Ford, pen and ink artist June Hammond, and painter Peter Winterton live in the gallery.

On Saturday September 29 there will be an opportunity to see jeweller Yeun Yau and ceramicist Anna Whitehouse demonstrating their crafts.
