May I, through your paper, and on behalf of the Macmillan Volunteers say a very sincere thank you to all who helped to make the carols service such a great success. We would like to thank the Rev A Ison, the Driffield Male Voice Choir, the Driffield Silver Band and the readers who all contributed to make the service very special, and again made us think of the true meaning of Christmas.

Our thanks also go to May Spooner and Stuart Spooner who once again printed the service sheets.

Lastly, our thanks go to the Driffield Parochial Church Council and the friends who helped with the refreshments.

Our thanks also go to all the people of Driffield and district who attended the service and all who gave so generously to the collection, of which every penny is spent at the Alfred Bean Macmillan Unit.
