Two Stately homes near Driffield and an East Riding farm shop have got the scoop on an award-winning ice cream to serve to customers.
Ice cream manufacturer Yorvale, based in North Yorkshire, has secured new deals with Burton Agnes Hall, Sledmere House and Drewton’s farm shop near South Cave to sell ice cream and frozen yoghurt Yoryog.
Helen Galvin, catering manager at Burton Agnes Hall, said Yoryog provides a healthy option. She added: “Yorvale is a good brand and we like to support local food and businesses. For customers who have dietary requirements, it’s another option for them.”
Julie Foley, sales assistant at Sledmere House gift shop, said: “Yoryog is going down really well. I think the quality is better than any I have tried in a long time.”
Yorvale was launched 25 years ago and stocks farm shops, visitor attractions, independent retailers and supermarkets throughout Yorkshire and are also available nationwide via selected wholesalers. Pictured are business owners Lesley and Ian Buxton.
