New Chamber committee
The Beverley and District Chamber of Trade has a new committee, following their AGM last month.
Ben Gardiner will be continuing as chairman and Tracy Irwins of Claughtons will stay as treasurer. Vice-chairman is Julian Michall of Indicoll, Keith Loveday of pure and Louise Grant of Browns will share the duties of secretary.
The next meeting of the Chamber will be at 6pm on Wednesday 29 February at the Beverley Arms Hotel.
Charlotte Sergeant from Welcome to Yorkshire will be speaking about how her organisation can help bring visitors to Beverley. The Chamber will be discussing how they can capitalise individually, and as a town, on the Jubilee Celebrations and they will have a report back from meetings with the developers of both the Flemingate and Grovehill sites to decide what steps the Chamber should take next.
