A POORLY dog is in need of a new home to live out his remaining days.
Tosh the Border Collie has bladder cancer and needs full-time care which his owners are unable to provide because of work commitments.

Anjanette Mills, who runs MJ Booth on Middle Street North, is looking for a kind-hearted dog lover to look after him.

Tosh has been looked after by members of her family since his previous owners, Mrs Mills' parents, died.

She said 11-year-old Tosh is a good-natured and well-behaved dog who is good with children and other animals but, due to his illness, he needs someone on hand to clean up after him.

She said: "He does have accidents so he needs someone who is at home all day, ideally in Driffield because I would like to see him. He is a lovely dog who is good with children and other animals."

Mrs Mills said the cost of keeping Tosh and his vets bills would be met by her family and all that is required is a good place for him to live.

Anyone who can help should contact Mrs Mills, tel 07957 586291.
