Middleton on the Wolds based Discover Energy have been awarded £1m worth of contracts in their first seven months of trading.

The firm has already delivered £700,000 of contracts and has more than £400,000 of signed orders to deliver in the coming months.

Discover Energy, which started trading in November 2013, claimed that it had received an unprecedented reception from the farming and commercial sectors since breaking into the renewable energy industry late last year.

The company provides solutions for solar photovoltaic systems targeted mainly in the commercial and agricultural sectors.

Martin Bleasby, the Operations Manager for Discover Energy, which has changed its name from Discover Renewables, said: “Simply put, our growth is purely down to the company delivering on all aspects of its promises.

“This is a result of our fresh thinking approach to solar PV, transparency and flexibility is key.

“The solar industry has been established for quite a few years now and awareness and technical understanding is growing within the market place.”

“The recent change to our branding reflects on the company’s longer term aspirations, as well as supporting our more recently secured local and national partnerships”.

Jack Oxtoby, Technical Manager for Discover Energy commented - “Everyone here at Discover Energy is pleased with our remarkable start.

However, we will not become complacent and we are already diligently expanding the company to meet demand.

“Solar PV is experiencing another sharp uptake in interest and the current Feed-in-Tariffs make it a sound financial investment.”

Discover Energy is aiming to re-launch its website within the coming weeks. www.discoverrenewables.co.uk
