Baby Bliss tea party
A Chari-tea party is being held on Saturday 11 February at Toll Gavel Church Hall in Beverley from 1-4pm, to raise funds for baby charity Bliss.
There will be lots of activites for the kids to do, including face painting, cupcake decorating and a colouring competition, plus there will be a bake sale and a raffle, with some great prizes from local companies.
Bliss, the special care baby charity, provides vital support and care to premature and sick babies across the UK. They offer guidance and information at a critical time in families’ lives. They also fund ground-breaking research and campaign for babies to receive the best possible level of care regardless of when and where they are born.
The charity is of particular interest to organiser Helen Croft of Croft Cakes as her son, who turns one on 14 February, was born prematurely and spent a short time in the neonatal unit at the hospital in Hull.
She is being supported by Becky Barnes from Miss Poppy’s Tea Party, who specialises in vintage tea parties, based at the Kubana Bar and Grill.
