There is a clue to store parking rules

I HAVE just finished reading a letter in the Beverley Guardian about a woman who got a parking fine and felt the need to respond.

I am not sticking up for Tesco nor am I attacking the writer.

However, there are no signs saying you cannot park there but the visual clue of a cross hatching with a pedestrian painted on, for me at least, implies it is not for parking on.

The other thing that bugged me was that it's not even Tesco's car park, so boycotting the store has nothing to do with the car park.
