I AM writing to congratulate all those who have been involved with the proposed plans for the Beverley Minster visitor and education centre.

It is very evident that the plans have been drawn by people who are completely in tune with the town and its history and can really appreciate the need for the extension to be in keeping with the existing beautiful building, I wish them all well.

Unfortunately I cannot express the same sentiment about the plans for the Memorial Hall. I hope and pray that the proposed eyesore never gets off the ground.
