TRIO Fauve are to perform a concert of early 20th century masterpieces in Bridlington.
The Manchester-based group, named after the school of French post-Impressionist artists known as the Fauves, consist of a flute, viola and harp.

The Fauves, whose work was intense, energetic and crude, worked during a period of French art which coincided with the composition of many works by French composers for flute, harp and strings.

All of the members of Trio Fauve are committed to the early 20th century masterpieces and explore the diverse and challenging repertoire.

The programme of music will include Bach's Two Menuets et une Polonaise, Ross Edwardes' Ecstatic Dance No.2 and Richard Norris' Ritual, Symbol, Sacrament.

Trio Fauve will perform at the Emmanuel Church, Cardigan Road, Bridlington, on Wednesday February 27 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £8 concessions on (01262) 678258.
