THE mayor of Beverley will be holding the annual Snow Ball on Saturday December 13 at Beverley Memorial Hall.
The event will be raising money for the charities chosen by the mayor, Councillor Ken Thorley, Guide Dogs for the Blind and NURSE.
Revellers will dance the night away to the music of Mr Swing's Dance Orchestra, and Decades Music.

a has entertained at many venues, including Buckingham Palace, with its big band classics from Glen Miller, Irvin Berlin, Cole Porter and Gershwin.
A hot dinner will be served at 8pm, followed by the entertainment.
The event will also include a bar and a raffle for the mayoral charities.
Deputy town clerk Helen Watson said; "We are really looking forward to the Snow Ball.
"It always has a really good friendly, lively, festive atmosphere.
"You have watched Strictly Come Dancing on TV, now you can come and try it yourself.
"Mr Swing's Dance Orchestra play a wonderful range of music to dance to, but are also great to listen to and enjoy the big band experience that has become so popular."
Coun Thorley said it would be wonderful to see lots of local people supporting the event and raising money for the mayoral charities.
Tickets are available from the town council office at 12 Well Lane, Beverley, at a cost of £22 per person.
