THE Locrian Ensemble will be presenting a concert entitled The Spirit of Christmas by Candlelight at the Bridlington Spa Theatre on Wednesday, December 10 at 7.30pm.

The Locrian Ensemble are one of Britain's best-loved and busiest musical groups, playing on Oscar-winning scores for films such as 'Lord of the Rings' and 'Harry Potter.'

Now they bring their sumptuous period costumes and ornate candelit setting to bear on Christmas, inviting you to enjoy their wonderful collaboration with a top West End star from 'Phantom of the Opera', Jill Washington.

This concert will truly represent the Spirit of Christmas, with seasonal carols and Yuletide favourites, performed by musicians of the highest international calibre.

Carols for audience, Christmas medleys for strings, variations on Christmas tunes for harp and ensemble, some hilarious surprises - this is really the Locrian's most popular and enduring show.

Tickets cost adults £15, concessions £12.

They are available from The Spa Box Office on (01262) 678258.
