ON Friday, December 12 at 8pm the new Galtres Enter-tainment Centre, Easingwold, will be celebrating rock and roll with a performance from the 'fab four from Liverpool', the Backbeat Beatles.

Tickets are £15 for adults and £12 for children, and are available from the Galtres Centre box office, telephone 01347 822472, (credit card facilities available) but are selling out fast, similar to the recent Abba show when the house full signs had to go up.

With this show, one can relive rock and roll's heyday, with the Backbeat Beatles, one of the UK's most successful tribute bands to the legendary Liverpudlian group.

Wearing everything from Beatles suits to Sgt. Pepper regalia, the Backbeat Beatles never fail to entertain, with The Daily Mail commenting, 'they are probably the nearest you will get to the real thing'.

Formed in 1994 by Chris O'Neil, inspired by his performance in the BAFTA award winning film "Backbeat", the lads are all from the Liverpool area, and have performed all over the world, including the Sporting Club in Monaco.

The show is a history lesson of the Beatles, and a great evening is guaranteed.
