THE first year of a Driffield holistic beauty salon has seen it grow to offer more diverse treatments than ever before.
Staff at Reflections are this month celebrating the first anniversary of the business, set up by Sallie Warkup on Middle Street South.
Sallie, of Lowthorpe, said: “It’s been fantastic and the support has been amazing. It’s really good that it’s taken off, I can’t believe it has been a year.”
The success of the firm has also meant nail technician Rachael Lunn was taken on earlier this year specialising in nail art, acrylics and other techniques.
Rachael, who is originally from Leeds, took the job at Reflections several months ago after completing NVQs in various beauty therapies.
Completing the team of three at the salon is receptionist Chris Warkup.
Sallie said they have been able to branch out to offer a very diverse range of treatments including Dermalogica facial treatments, aromatherapy facials, reflexology, Clearskin Microdermabrasion and Vita Lux treatment, a non-surgical facelift.
She explained why she opted to set up in Driffield: “This place came up at the right time, I took it on and have never looked back.”
She has thanked all her customers for their loyal support over the past year and said she hopes to take Reflections successfully into 2009.
She added: “I am going to keep up to date on developments in the beauty industry and we hope for a prosperous New Year.”
Reflections will be open for Driffield’s pre-Christmas late night shopping and gift vouchers are on sale.
Reflections is contactable on (01377) 200244.
