FiND are charity of the month

Jan Scrowston of Beverley Building Society proudly presented a cheque for £250 to Jayne Jack, chief executive of FiND, as the winners of their new ‘charity of the month’ project.

Introduced in January, this exciting new initiative will see a local charity benefit from a £250 donation every month. Directly supporting the local community, the Beverley Building Society will select three charities in the region and ask their customers to vote for the organisation they feel is most deserving of the award.

Relying heavily on donations and grants for its financing, FiND was delighted to be selected as the first charity of the month.

FiND operates in various locations in the East Riding and focuses on providing training, lifelong learning and skill development to assist young people with severe learning disabilities and autism to achieve greater independence.
