Bring on the same parking for Saturdays

Re: Beverley costly free town parking.

So for approximately three months now, 1 million spent in Wednesday Market.

The parking bays in front of Boyes are excellent, but the (supposed) footpath often has more vehicles disabled than not that park for free with no time restrictions or charges throughout the day and late evening (why is this not displayed on the undoubtedly costly new electronic signs that have sprouted around the town? Even Tesco's is only free for three hours).

I used to be against the similar happening in Saturday Market but if it means we can all park on the pathways with unrestricted time limits and free, as is Wednesday Market, then I say bring it on.

It's just a thought – the first pram or person to be injured while on the footpath who do they take to court, the council or the police for having turned a blind eye to the long ongoing practice?
