A BEVERLEY motorist who drove a van without valid insurance has been fined and given penalty points.
The case against Paul Simon Warburton, 28, of Wilbert Lane, was found to be proved is his absence by magistrates sitting in Bridlington.

The court was told that Warburton had driven a van on Beverley Road, Driffield, on September 7 last year without valid third party insurance.

Warburton was fined £350 and had his licence endorsed with six penalty points.

He was also told to pay £40 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
