MAJOR gas replacement work is due to get underway in Beverley next Tuesday (March 25), causing major disruption to traffic.
The work will take about eight weeks and will involve laying a new gas main along with service pipe connections to homes in Queensgate, Cartwright Lane and Keldgate.

These roads are adjacent to the two mini roundabouts when approaching Beverley on the A164 from the south. Four-way temporary traffic signals will be in place and major disruptions to traffic are expected.

Bus services will also be disrupted by the works and it is recommended that people ring East Yorkshire Motor Services (EYMS) for information on (01482) 222222.
