EAST Riding Council's Summer Scorcha programme is looking for volunteers.
Summer Scorcha is a programme of fun play and sports sessions, delivered by a team of experienced play rangers and sports coaches during the school holidays. The programme operates across the East Riding and includes activities such as art and crafts, face painting, sporting games and den making.

New sessions for this year include benchball, ultimate frisbee and girls’ football.

Volunteer duties could include helping to register children, setting up activities and joining in the games.

All volunteers will be required to fill in a registration form and undertake Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) clearance before they are able to become a volunteer.

For more information on volunteering, or to request a registration form, ring Adam Toes on (01482) 392524.
