The performance will feature Romantic period music with Bedrich Smetana’s Bartered Bride Overture and Antonin Dvorak’s Violin Concerto and Symphony No. 9. It will be conducted by Petr Altrichter and will feature solo violinist, Charlie Siem.

Charlie is considered to be a rising star in the Classical world. Although only in his early twenties, he has already performed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Mozart Players, Israel Camerata, Bergen Philharmonic, Vilnius National Symphony Orchestra, English Chamber Orchestra and Petros Sinfonica Brazil. His second album is due out later this year.

Founded in 1993, The Czech National Symphony is today considered one of Czechoslavakia’s great orchestras and is respected as one of busiest symphonic ensembles in Europe.
