AUCTION lovers are in for a treat on Sunday when hundreds of antiques and collectables go under the hammer at Woodmansey - with a credit crunch busting buyers' premium of just five percent.
Haltemprice Auctions will stage the event at Woodmansey Village Hall, with the first items being sold from at 12.30pm.

Older furniture entries include waxed pine double robe, knee hole desk, blanket box and four heights chest of drawers; Dining ta
ble and chairs; Oak 1930's roll top desk; Bergere three piece suite; Inlaid mahogany display cabinet; Quality envelope top card table; Balloon back, wicker seat, 1960's, imposing hall and Windsor chairs; Stools; Overmantle; Fold over table; Childrens' chairs; Canteen table and contents; Blanket and sewing boxes; Nests of tables; Nine piece bedroom suite and other modern furniture. Three piece leather suite.

Electrical goods include Liebherr fridge freezer, Siemans washing machine, freezer, various heaters, T.V's, dehumidifier, vacuum cleaners, sewing machine etc.

Ceramics section includes quality tray lots of named items, Royal Albert roses, Shelley coffee set etc. Wall plates. Figurines include Royal Doulton Loretta, Red Rose etc. Character jugs include Falstaff, Granny etc. Animal and Beswick bird ornaments.

Glassware includes rummers and ornaments.

Books with sporting and antique sections. Kelly's directory Hull and Lincs. 1937. History of South Cave 1892. Several lots of pictures and prints.

Diverse collectables section includes interesting box file collections, Hull advertising items and ephemera, Gold (1897) and silver H.H. running medals, drinking and ivory items, cream maker, Hull K.R. programmes from 1980's, old coinage, Action Man toys, Masai figures, good selection of badges include Butlins, silver Castle Hill Hospital, Hull Auto Cycle 1903, Blackburn Welfare etc. Large collection of cigarette cards. Shipping items.
Militaria includes W.W.1 & 2 medals and miniatures, 1905 gun sight, military cap badges etc.

Gold, silver pocket and other watches. Pine cutlery box. Embroidery pictures. Tea caddy. Barometers. Plated and brassware. Cutlery including canteens. Small silver items. Jewellery (20+ lots) - gold chains and rings, 'Last supper' cameo, costume entries etc.

Boxed lots of china, kitchen and glassware, bric-a-brac etc. Aluminium step ladders. Several lots of tools include quality Record, Stanley, Stanley U.S.A. and other planes. Door and drawer furniture. Mobility section includes Invacare Action 2000 wheelchair, Aquatec Fortuna bath lift, mobility walkers etc.
