A HUGELY controversial application to build 10 apartments on the site of a bungalow in Copandale Road, Molescroft has been turned down by East Riding Council's eastern area planning sub-committee.
Applicants Lovel Developments already have consent to demolish the building and replace it with eight apartments, which were given the go-ahead by a Government inspector despite massive local opposition. The company was seeking permission to amend the plans to include eight two bedroom and two one-bedroom apartments
