COMEDIAN Charlie Chuck is appearing at Beverley's Comedy Buzz on Thursday October 1.
In common with Lee Evans, Charlie started out as a drummer, including a stint with The Small Faces.

His first TV appearance was drumming for The Amazing Bavarian Stompers on Tiswas in 1981. Subsequently he developed a comedy act, appearing on stage with bouffant hair and various bizarre props. His strange act was much appreciated by Paul McCartney, who booked him for a private gig. He was also spotted by Vic Reeves and regularly appeared as the character Uncle Peter on The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer.

Punters at his performance at the Beverley comedy club are advised to avoid the front few rows, as Charlie still has a penchant for smashing up his drum kit as a finale!

He will appear with four other comedians at Comedy Buzz, at Hodgsons pub in Flemingate, Beverley, starting at 7.30pm.
