Breaking news: Collision closes A165 northbound at Beeford

A MAN has been taken to hospital after a collision and car fire on the main route through Beeford today, Thursday.
The accident, which involved a car and a tractor, happened on the A165, close to the pet crematorium, at around 1pm this afternoon. The car was reported to have caught fire as a result of the impact.

A man in his 40s has been taken to Hull Royal Infirmary with what are believed to be minor injuries.

The northbound side of the A165 remains closed to traffic, though the southbound carriageway has re-opened. Diversions remain in force.
