SHOPPERS in Beverley can sample free coffee and croissants tomorrow thanks to Beverley Minster.
Members of the Minster catering team will be offering the refreshments on the Vicarage lawn in Highgate, from 8.30 to 10am as part of the Minster's contribution to the Hope 08 outreach campaign which aims to bring the church into greater contact with the community.

The Rev Richard Carew, assistant curate at Beverley Minster, explained: "The church is called to reflect and pass on the generosity of God. We hope that, in some small way, this breakfast will do that for the people of Beverley."
