THE Old Mill Hotel and Restaurant at Langtoft is to hold a Taste of Yorkshire evening next month.
The second event of its kind will be held at the venue on Friday April 25, due to popular demand.

The idea is that local food producers supply the Old Mill with speciality foods which are incorporated into a menu for the evening.
The event has been arranged to introduce the Old Mill to producers in an attempt to source goods for inclusion on the menu and to increase awareness among discerning diners of the difference in taste and appearance of fresh produce.

The owner of the Old Mill, Kathie Oliver- Heaton said: "At the Old Mill we love to serve good food.

"Good food is achieved by the skilled cooking of quality ingredients.
"By holding the Taste of Yorkshire event we wanted to show our customers firstly the quality of local ingredients available and secondly how they can be used to produce delicious and original food.

"We believe that by using local food we not only support local producers but also reduce the miles travelled of the food we use."
