POPULAR organist Gordon Stewart makes a return visit to Beverley Minster on Saturday July 5.
Gordon is a regular recitalist at the Minster and always attracts a large audience for his recitals.
This year his recital will include works by Stanley, Bach, Lionel Rogg and Oreste Ravanello.
The audience will be able to see, as well as hear, Gordon perform on a large screen at the front of the Nave.
Gordon is one of Britain's leading organists and has delighted audiences throughout Europe, and in America, South Africa and New Zealand with programmes which range from the earliest known organ music through the baroque to the virtuosic 19th and 20th century repertoire.
He regularly broadcasts on BBC radio and television and will be recognisable to many as one of the regular conductors on Songs of Praise.
The recital starts at 6pm.
l Tickets, which are priced at £7 and £6 are available from Beverley Tourist Information Centre, telephone (01482) 391672 or at the door from 5.30pm.
