BRIDLINGTON author Brian Phillipson will read from his latest novel at a home-town venue as part of the literature festival.
He will read from Pharaoh’s Treasure at Bridlington Library on King Street and will take questions afterwards.

The East Riding Libraries Literature Festival will also see visits to Bridlington from Sir John Mortimer and Dr David Neave who will talk about the history of Bridlington Spa and the research he undertook for his book Bridlington Spa - Past, Present And Future.

Brian Phillipson will be at Bridlington Library Thursday October 2 from 7.30pm and Dr Neave will appear at the same venue on Friday October 10 from 7.30pm.

Sir John Mortimer will introduce his latest novel, The Anti-Social Behaviour of Horace Rumpole, at The Spa Bridlington on Sunday October 5 at 2pm.

Sir John draws on his real-life experience as a barrister for his novels and has also written extensively for newspapers, cinema and the theatre.
