TWO East Riding pubs are among the finalists in the Yorkshire Tourist Board's 2008 White Rose Awards.
The Pipe and Glass Inn at South Dalton, and the Blue Bell Inn Restaurant at Weaverthorpe, are among six contenders for the title Yorkshire Pub of the Year.

The Pipe and Glass has also been shortlisted for the Taste of Yorkshire Award.

The judges will spend the next three months reviewing the short-listed businesses and the winners will be announced at a ceremony at Bridlington Spa on September 25.

Winners will be put forward as Yorkshire's nominations for the national Enjoy England Awards for Excellence 2009.
