BEVERLEY-based photographer Derek Schultz has recently been awarded the Licentiateship of The Royal Photographic Society.
A prestigious organisation with the Queen as its patron, the Royal Photographic Society is recognised for promoting high photographic standards around the world.

To gain a distinction, photographers have to submit a portfolio for approval by a highly-qualified panel of Fellows of the Society. Mr Schultz will now receive a certificate from the president of the society entitling him to use the letters LRPS after his name.
