BEEFORD-based international pig-breeding company ACMC has strengthened its technical department with the appointment of Emma Davison as technical manager.
Based at the company's Beeford, headquarters and reporting to technical director, Edward Sutcliffe, she will be involved in all aspects of the company's sophisticated genetic improvement programme.

Her duties will also include data analysis, the auditing of ACMC's UK and overseas operations, and assisting in the development of the software for PigCom, the company's in-house windows-based herd management system.

Emma graduated from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, where she gained a BSc in Animal Science, with Honours in Livestock Technology.
Her hobbies include horse-riding, ballet dancing and Young Farmers' Club activities.
